Our team proudly supports diversity and excellence in the FIGC third-tier 11-a-side soccer league.
Our playersare a mix of many nationalities: Italy, Nigeria, Ecuador, Gambia, Ivory Coast, Guinea, Togo, Ghana, Mali, Egypt, Pakistan, Senegal, Morocco, Peru.
We train once a week at the Scarioni Sports Center, led by professional coach Tommaso Ciceri. In addition to training and matches, our boys are involved in activities such as technical-sport and cultural mediation courses, team building meetings, and participate in organizing YouSport events.

Context
YouSport believes strongly in the power of multiculturalism. Our teams are made up of different cultures, habits, and traditions, and it is in this diversity that we seek the uniqueness of our experience
Milan
About 12.4 percent of non-EU citizens legally residing in Italy live in Milan.
A men's soccer team, with the goal of promoting acceptance through the universal language of sports.
This social project aims to enhance the sporting excellence, human and social experiences, and personal enrichment of young people by leveraging their diversity as a strength.
The team
A multicultural team:
- 1/3 Italian players
- 2/3 foreign players
Over 30 young people between the ages of 18 and 40, from 14 different nationalities: Italy, Nigeria, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ivory Coast, Guinea, Togo, Ghana, Mali, Egypt, Pakistan, Senegal, Morocco, Perù, 30% of whom come from the Centri di Accoglienza Straordinaria (CAS) of via Corelli, via Aquila and via Padova in Milan.
The goals of the project
To promote acceptance among young people of different backgrounds through the language and practice of sports

Sports activities
Two weekly practices at the Scarioni Sports Center, 10 Thucydides Street.
After participating in 2021/2022 in the CSI Open B championship, and in 2022/2023 in the CSI Open A championship, from the 2023/2024 season the team is registered in the FIGC Third Category championship.
The “Italian in the Ball” course
The project offers an Italian language course for players who wish to learn or improve the language, with a special focus on soccer.
The course covers all major aspects, from grammar to conversation.
Objective
To deepen the language of soccer with the Game-Based Learning method, offering a weekly meeting in dedicated spaces.
The third half
The project involves organizing a rugby-style “third half” after each home game, involving friends and relatives of the players, as well as members of the opposing teams.
Objective
To promote fair play to eliminate the distance between the stands and the field.
Happy hour
The project involves the periodic organization of a social event (a happy hour, dinner, movie or theater night) every 8 weeks.
Objective
To strengthen the bond between teammates and increase penetration between distant social fabrics.
Under implementation
Within the project there are activities to support job search (in collaboration with Consorzio Mestieri Lombardia) and housing (in collaboration with Milano Abitare).
