The exhibition took place on 14–15 September 2024 at Palazzo Castiglioni, located at Corso Venezia 47, Milan, transforming one of the city’s historic landmarks into a meeting place for photography, sport, and social impact.
Siamo Sport was created with a dual purpose. On one hand, it offers a different perspective on sport, highlighting its social and cultural value beyond competition. On the other, it supports a meaningful cause: raising funds for the redevelopment of the Roberta Guaineri sports fields at the Scuola Rinnovata Pizzigoni in Milan. The goal was to transform these facilities into an accessible and inclusive space for students and the local community.
Through dozens of images, the exhibition explores Sport, not only as competition or performance, but as a universal experience that builds community, evokes shared emotions, and fosters inclusion. The pictures capture the richness and diversity of the sporting world, portraying a wide range of moments: from international champions and passionate fans to children at play, neighborhood sports fields, and major sporting events.Together, these stories reveal sport as a universal language that brings people and communities together, demonstrating how a cultural event can become a powerful tool for supporting social projects and creating lasting value through sports.
